The description matters in several places: it's the subject hint passed to the extraction LLM (biasing it toward on-topic facts), the only content signal used to AI-suggest seed sources and discovery tools, and the human-readable context shown in the UI and exports. Concrete, specific descriptions work much better than generic ones — you can also edit it later and use the Optimize button to have the LLM rewrite it.
